Week of May 25-June 1
It is hard to believe this is our last newsletter for the year. Our time together this year has been so wonderful. Thank you so much for all of your support. Mrs. Quinlan and I thank you for allowing us the opportunity to teach them this year. They each hold a special place in our hearts.
The class has made such amazing progress this year. We have seen them grow greatly in knowledge and faith. Please make sure to go through your child’s journal with him/her. You won’t believe the growth you can see in the writing and pictures. They are quite the little authors and artists! We pray that they will all continue to learn and grow in Christ. Keep reading, writing, and working on math facts over the summer. Be safe and have fun!
We are sending home your child’s books, one or two each day. There are many pages left in the Reader’s Notebook, Math, and Social Studies workbooks that we did not complete. These lessons were taught with other methods, like whiteboard and writing activities. Completing those pages or at least some of them over the summer is a great way to keep your child’s skills up and ready for Second grade.
