Week of February 19-23
This has been such a fun filled week! Thank you to all who helped with the Valentine party. It was a hit! The children loved having pancakes at Notre Dame for Mardi Gras and our celebration here at school. On Thursday we were treated to a lesson about the American flag from members of the Lions Club.
On Ash Wednesday the children took home a Path to Easter. This is not something that needs to be returned, but a way to show progress leading up to Easter. We are doing various activities in the classroom as random acts of kindness but with the theme of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. There are ideas on the back for your family to do when we don’t have school.
