From the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston: As many of you are aware, the Diocese of Steubenville, Ohio, recently released a list of priests who have been credibly accused of sexual abuse of minors. Included in the list were the names of priests who have been stationed near, or who have celebrated liturgies and other events at parishes within the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, including our Catholic Schools. The Diocese encourages anyone who may be the victim of abuse by one of these priests, or any priest in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, to contact your local authorities or the Diocesan Office of Safe Environment at (304) 233-0880.

School supervision will begin at 7:15 am. The school will not be responsible for students who arrive before this time. Upon arrival at school, all students will report to the Auditorium. The principal or a teacher will supervise the students as they arrive at school.

The pre-Kindergarten class ends at 11:00 am. We have a “Creative Play” Group that is open to our 3 year old preschool students and pre-Kindergarten. The times are from 11:00 am to 2:15 pm. The regular school day ends at 2:15 pm. St. Mary’s Grade School does offer an after school/extended day program for preschool to 6th grade. Students who are not picked up by 2:30 pm will report to the “Keepers” and parents will be billed for services.
