Plaid Fundraiser Sale:  We are having a fundraiser using the old plaid uniforms for bears, pillows, and small ornaments.  The money raised from this fundraiser will be used to cover the cost of painting the Auditorium.  We have so many plaid uniforms right now and we still have a whole year to collect uniforms for Sister Maria to send to Zimbabwe.  See the attachment for an order form.

Warm Weather Uniform:  Here are the guidelines for the Warm Weather Uniform:

  • White/light blue/gray polo shirt with a collar
  • Navy blue shorts- knee length, loose fitting, if belt loops-a belt must be worn
  • Tennis Shoe or sport shoe-closed toe, no slippers, no light ups
  • Socks with shorts -WHITE only in ankle or calf length

COKE  Rewards:   We have an account for our school to receive support from the coke products you purchase.  The school name is ST MARY CENTRAL SCHOOL.  If you don’t feel like taking the time to enter the codes, send them to school and we will enter them!  The codes can be found on the tear off lids to the boxes and on the plastic caps.

The new Land’s End Plaid and Navy Blue Fleece do not become mandatory until the fall of 2023.  So you have one full year to transition into the new plaid and fleece!  There is no hurry to purchase them unless you need new uniforms.

Reminder:  We will recycle the old plaid uniforms.  You may send them in to the school.  Most will go to Zimbabwe with Sister Maria.

Week of May 2:  Students in grades K-5 will be completing their final MAP testing. Please make sure iPads are charged daily.

May 3:  One Mission, One Day Fundraiser!!!! This is our annual Day of Giving and our big drive for financial support for our school.  This year, St. Mary’s will concentrate on three main areas of giving:

1.  ‘The Heat is On’ Team – this team will raise monies for a new boiler system for building.

2.  ‘The Home’ Team – This team will raise money to finance revitalizing projects around the school such as painting, carpeting, and other maintenance needs.

3.  The ‘Mother Mary’s Treasure’ Team – This team will raise money to help us establish an in-house tuition assistance fund to help families in times of an emergency need such as the loss of a job, house fire, death in the family, etc.

Donations can be made online beginning at 12am on Tuesday May 3rd and close at midnight on May 3rd.  We will go live on Facebook beginning at 9am and periodically throughout the day with a wrap up live session at 2pm.
