Shoe Drive Update

We did it – we surpassed our first mini goal of 250 pairs of shoes! As of this morning, we have collected 433 pairs of shoes. Thank you to everyone that has already brought in shoes. We are so grateful for your participation and look forward to you continuing to spread the word and recruit additional shoe collections. By hitting our first mini goal, it also means that we get to have a little fun next week with Ms. Lori as she wears her clothes backwards one day. Be on the lookout on our Facebook page for pictures of our shoe drive fun!

Our next mini goal is to hit 750 pairs of shoes by the time we return to school in January. AND IF we do… the students will enjoy showing off their new Christmas duds with a dress down day on Thursday, January 5th. Please help the school with this goal by using one of the following ideas:

  • Ask your office or business to collect shoes (flyer attached that you can place on a collection bin)
  • Canvas your neighborhood (flyer attached that you can place in mailboxes and collect on a day that you choose)
  • Ask party guests to bring unwanted shoes to your holiday gatherings

Our shoe drive runs until January 31st. Our ultimate goal is to collect 2,500 pairs of shoes to help those in need. Have questions or need help with a large pick up? Text Pam Leonard at 740-525-2846.
