Dear St. Mary’s Families,
Please watch the calendar below for upcoming events. We are adding to it daily! Spring is
going to be full of learning and fun! Remember to wear green tops with uniform bottoms on St.
Patrick’s Day!
Have a safe weekend.

Notes of Interest:

Religion Lesson of the week: Lent

Service Project- Easter Baskets for the Homeless: The 6 th grade has created a service project
titled, Easter Baskets for the Homeless. Our Dress Down Day collected $319.25 from St. Mary’s
students to purchase supplies for this project. Thank you so much for your generosity and
donations!! We are going to start filling the baskets next week! During the month of March, we
will collect small Easter baskets and travel size personal items to fill the baskets. A little candy
would be a nice touch too!

COKE Rewards: We have an account for our school to receive support from the coke products
you purchase. The school name is ST MARY CENTRAL SCHOOL. If you don’t feel like
taking the time to enter the codes, send them to school and we will enter them! The codes can be
found on the tear off lids to the boxes and on the plastic caps.

Bridgeport Bus Students: Reminder that there will not be a bus to ride next Friday, March 18.

NDMS Track: It’s that time of year….training will begin for ND Middle School Track. Coach
Nathan Nardella has scheduled the first practice for March 28 in the ND Gym at 5:30 pm.
Interested students need to bring a Sports Physical and a pair of non-street tennis shoes to wear
for practice.

Open Applications Time: Applications are open for all new students! The application is
available on our webpage at

Tuition for the 2022-2023 School Year: In order to obtain the Catholic Rate, you must provide
the form completed by your parish pastor titled, Registered, Participating and Contributing Parishioner, every year. This form was sent home a few weeks ago with the Hope Scholarship
information. It is, also, now posted on our webpage under the Admissions button.

New Parent Handbook: The new, updated version of the Parent Handbook has been posted on
the school website at Please review this document for a more detailed
version of our school policies, especially the Discipline Policy with updated consequences. A
hard copy of the New Parent Handbook will be given to you at your contract signing in August.

Tuition for 22-23 School Year: Attached is the updated Tuition Rates Form for next year for
your planning. We have kept the tuition rates fairly consistent with only slight increase of $5-
$30 per child. Fees have increased by $150-200 per child due to the higher costs for materials,
textbooks, and technology software. The cost to educate a child at St. Mary’s is approximately
$5.775.00. Additional funds used to cover the cost of education are obtained from donations
through the parishes, and fundraising. A more detailed Financial Review will come out towards
the end of the school year.

Some changes for the Tuition Contracts for next year:

1. If you have a child at Notre Dame, your child in St. Mary’s will receive the 2 nd child rate
2. Fees must be paid in full at time of contract signing. (August)
3. Tuition and Fees paid in full 5 days prior to the first day of school will have a 2%
