Notes of Interest:
Bridgeport Bus Students: Harrison County Schools will not be open on March 6; therefore, there will not be any bus to Bridgeport.
PK4 Parents: You must have a WVEIS # assigned by Harrison County Schools to be eligible to apply for the HOPE Scholarship. Complete the Notice of Intent in your email or on the school website and get this to the board for the assignment of the WVEIS #.
HOPE Scholarship application is open from March 1 – May 16. You must apply with a WVEIS # to be eligible for this money.
Reminder: All PK4 students must complete and application online at our school website if you intend to return to St. Mary’s kindergarten next year.
Applications are now open to the general public at www.stmaryswv.org.
If you know a family who has expressed interest in our schools, please refer them to us for a tour and one on one conversation to answer questions and concerns.
TAPs: Phase 1 of the Tuition Assistance Program application opens on Feb 1 for all Catholic families and closes on April 30. Awards will be announced in May. Phase 11 is now open to Catholics and Non-Catholics and closes on August 31. This application should be submitted during Phase 1 and will not need to be resubmitted for Phase 2 awards. See your email or the School Website for application.
March Field Trip: Students in grades K-6 will travel to the 4-H recreational Center to participate in the Dinosaur program. K-2 will go on March 29 from 9:00-1:30 pm. Grades 3-6 will go on March 27 from 9:00-1:30. All students are to wear their standard school uniform with tennis shoes and fleece jackets. All students must bring a packed lunch with a drink. Look for permission forms soon!
School Uniforms: Reminder, next fall, all students must have the new school uniform from Land’s End. Land’s End is having a sale at this time. It may be a good time to purchase the new fleece and plaid.

Bring the entire family and join us for an afternoon of fun including an Easter Egg hunt (bring your own basket), face painting, and more! Sign-ups for drinks, snacks, and eggs will be available soon.
Candy Donation for the Egg Hunt will be supplied by the donation of candy on a Dress Down Day March 22. Please send your donations to school that day.
