St. Mary’s Grade School

Dear St. Mary’s Families:
On Wednesday, October 26, we will be hosting our annual SMS/ND Trunk or Treat in the back parking lot. This is such a great family event for our two schools! We hope you will be able to join us! Families are encouraged to dress up, decorate your trunks, and pass out candy!
Here is the schedule for our evening:
6:30-7:00 Arrival and Set Up of vehicles. Students will be treated to a movie on the playground from 6:30-7:00 and may purchase food from a concessions table… pizza and/or chicken sandwiches.
7:00 –7:45 Students will be gathered for an opening prayer and then begin their Trunk or Treating.

Dress Down Day is Wednesday, October 26.
ND Key Club Bake Sale: On Friday, October 28, the ND Key Club will have a Bake Sale during lunch times. Our students may purchase items that range in price from $1-$2.
Mass on October 28. Wear Formal Uniforms.
Report Cards for the 1st Nine Weeks will come home on Friday, October 28.
Halloween- October 31: All students will all be dismissed at 10:40 am to go home for lunch.
Students in grades K-6 will need to return at 1:00 for the parade, which begins at 1:15.
We will plan to parade out the front door towards Immaculate Conception, around the block to Main Street and back into the front entrance.
*PK3 and PK4 Parties are in the morning at 9:30. The PK Parade will be in the parking lot in the back at 10:15 am. There will not be any extended care for preschool students on Halloween Day.
*There will not be any Keepers on Oct 31.
Winter Uniform begins on November 1. This means no more tennis shoes or shorts.
Saints Dolls due November 1.
St. Mary’s Children’s Choir is being formed under the direction of Maria Ammons and Cecilia Landers. All students in grades 2-6 are invited to join. Practices will be after school. Sign-Up forms were sent home last week. If you did not receive one and would like your child to participate, call the office and speak with Mrs. Ammons.
The next HandS meeting is Wednesday, November 9 at 6 PM in the St. Mary’s auditorium. All are welcome!
