Dear Catholic School Families-

Governor Jim Justice has extended his emergency declaration order closing schools up to September 8, 2020, and our Catholic schools are required to obey his emergency order, even though we are prepared to open in the traditional teachers-and-students-in-the-classroom mode following State and public health guidance.

The Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston Catholic schools remain committed to providing quality Catholic school education while working with local and state health officials to provide the safest possible learning environment for our students, staff and administrators.

We know this raises a multitude of questions, which we will spend the up-coming days working through to develop answers for you.

Peace-

Mary Ann Deschaine, Ed.S.

Superintendent

Pumpkin Drop

Hello Parents!

I hope everyone is off to a great schoolyear! As time is passing the pumpkin drop is quickly approaching.  This event will take place on Tuesday, September 17th. We will need volunteers to help transport pumpkins, work the pumpkin drop, and to also help with donations. Mrs. Palmer will be calling with specific details regarding this event.  If you can help in any way it will be greatly appreciated! If you have any questions you can contact me by calling the school office or by email at armorris@stmaryswv.org.

Blessings,

Mrs. Morris
