MAP Testing: The beginning of the year MAP (measure of academic performance) will begin on Tuesday, September 5. Students are tested 3 times a year to determine academic growth and performance. The first test will give us a baseline for your child’s performance.

Mass with Bishop Brennan: On August 29, Bishop Brennan will be in our schools to visit with children and then do an all schools mass for our students at 1:00. Families are invited to attend mass. Keepers: We are in search of a full time supervisor for this program every day from 2:30-5:30. We are in danger of having to discontinue this program if we can not find a full time supervisor. Please help in our search!
HandS Notes:
Grandparents Day Celebration: On Friday, September 8th we will be celebrating Grandparents Day. All grandparents are invited! We will start the day with mass then invite all our guests to join their students in the parish hall for pictures and a sweet treat. In addition to the grandparents in attendance, a special opportunity will be available to pray for all our grandparents. A form was shared last week and is also attached to the latest Parent Memo email asking for attendance numbers so that we can provide enough recognition items for our grandparents/surrogate grandparents in attendance. Please return this form no later than Friday, September 1st. Questions? Text Pam Leonard 740-525-2846.
If any parent or grandparent is interested in volunteering in the school this year, please check out our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/3552395778379173/ for opportunities to sign up.
