Dear St. Mary’s Families:
Next week is the final week of the first 9 week grading period. Report Cards will be sent home on Friday,
Mass on Friday, October 20.
Monday, October 30, is our annual Pumpkin Drop event. Weather permitting; the event will take place outside
in our back parking lot at 12:30 pm. Bring a chair and join the fun!
Halloween costume drive for Shepherd’s Corner. We will be collecting used and new Halloween costumes from now
until Halloween for Shepherd’s corner. We have already collected 11 costumes, hoping to keep them coming until
Halloween. Those who utilize Shepherd’s corner greatly appreciates these this time of year!
Trunk or Treat
The trunk or treat event will be taking place on Thursday October 26th. Car decorating begins at 5pm and then the
event will start at 5:30. There will be a food truck available for a purchased dinner if interested. Please sign up on the
HandS facebook page or text/call Christina Nielson 304-541-6372 if you are interested in decorating your car and
handing out candy for this event. Thank you!
Next meeting will be Wednesday November 8th at 6pm in the auditorium. Hope to see you there!
Family Prayer Service
Please save the date for Thursday November 16th at 6pm for a family prayer service. This is an opportunity for your
families to come to school and experience what Morning Prayer looks like. Mr. Sammy will lead the children in
prayer, scripture, and song as we all gather around Mary in the hallway to participate and join our children in
expressing gratitude for all we have before beginning the busy holiday season.
Watch for changes each week!
